Hello,
I got a message saying my phone number is getting suspended because I am out of the country and haven't made any calls or text. I do I stop my phone number from getting suspended

You also have the option of logging into your account and reporting it as lost/stolen, that will stop your 90 day timing until you reactivate it when you're back (make sure it's within that timeframe), that way you don't have to pay right now while not using it. I was away for a month and a half, that's what I did, now it's back in service no problem

No worries, you have up to 90 days if for nonpayment/suspended account before your account will be closed, SIM will be useless and your number lost.
If you are out of the country longer than 90 days, you can login to your account and switch to the $15 plan on AutoPay so you won't lose your number.

non payment get suspended account, you can leave suspended until coming back to make payment,
but be careful not over 90 day you losing everything.

@Rojee log into My Account and make a manual payment to prevent it from being lost (over 90 days in nonpay status you lose your account and number).
If you are going to be out of the country for a bit longer, maybe change it to the $15 plan first then top up and resume services.
Unless you are in a plan that is grandfathered! If that is the case if you change plans you can't get the plan back.

Auto pay can fail
To make payment and reactivate plan .. if you know PIN number you can *611 with a voucher and *611 no PIN needed otherwise log into self serve make manual payment and reactivate service and or update credit card if necessary
