Phone Stopped Working

Great Neighbour / Super Voisin

Phone was working fine until about 90 minutes ago.  Shows that it's connected to the PM network, but cannot send/receive calls and/or texts.  Tried rebooting twice.  Outage map shows no outage in my area (Ottawa).

Please help!

Thanks, everyone! 

I tried reseating it.  Didn't work.  Then I tried the SIM in my old phone, and it worked.  Re-installed in again in my current phone, and voila!  Gremlins. . .

Maybe a network reset of phone might help (note this will erase Wifi passwords)

You could also try the SIM card in another working  phone. That will help determine whether hardware issue versus PM service problem.

does data work?

Try reseat the sim card if you have.  Power off, take sim out for a minutes and put it back and power up

And check SIM Manager if it is enabled and if voice is set to the correct sim. If iPhone, make sure the Public Mobile sim is set as Primary and "Turn on this line" is enabled
