Maybe you should consider the reconditioned market. The Samsung rugby a solid smartphone at $50 to $80 and fully compatible with public mobile...

The phone is 2G/3G only. Functionality is not great. You may have an issue editing the APN for MMS. Battery life is not terribly good. The reviews are terrible....

What are you looking for ? A rugged flip phone? There are better options.

@BamaMan66 unlocked is good. .but the main issue is the bands.

Yes it does state it is unlocked, and it is a brand new phone from Amazon. Thank you.

very few information to this phone as to exact bands it carries

from Amazon.ca, some reviews did say that they tried in Telus and it works.  So, it should

However, if you are buying new, check to see if you can return it just in case.

Just don't want to see you spent $100 and find it it doesn't work

You'll want to double check with the manufactuer. The company's website advertises 4g frequencies of 850/1900/2100MHz but do not list any 3g frequencies.  I believe that this company is simply referring to HSPA networks as "4g". If that's the case, yes, this phone will work at Public Mobile.

@BamaMan66...make sure it's unlocked and note blacklisted or stolen. Should work on PM network just fine.
