Question's simple, we have a landline in a household with 2 public mobile users and one koodo user. neither person with public mobile can call our landline, says it's "out of service" but the koodo user can call it no problem. The public mobile users can call any other number except our landline and get through with no issues.
Any idea for a fix on this?

@DarkKnight - can you try the Public Mobile SIM cards in another device and see if the same thing happens?
Try to manually select the 3G / WCDMA ONLY network in your Mobile Connections area on the Public Mobile devices in your settings (temporarily), see if the calls complete then.

Hm. OP cannot call LAND LINE, not other way. So land line is blocking PM call. It has to be something with network unless somehow land line is blocking ALL his PM numbers (highly unlikely).

@DarkKnight "neither person with public mobile can call our landline"
Try dialling as long distance with +1 in front of the number.

It seems like the type of issue that could be account-specific, so yes anyone from the household who will be able to answer the authentication questions that PM will answer to verify ownership of an account before they proceed to troubleshoot the account.

Yes you can try that.

@Zyl Yeah we're in BC. I'll check later on with them and see if it's still an issue.

@0PX9O4 Public Mobile had its own network structure before being taken over by Telus. After being taken over by Telus, that network structure was subsequently shut down and integrated under the Telus network structure. So I would assume that Public Mobile should be on the Telus network, same as other subsidiary companies like Koodo and yet there is no issue with Koodo.

@DarkKnight Are you from the BC, Alberta or New Brunswick area? If yes, there is currently some network issues that are impacting these three provinces since this Monday and I imagine is still ongoing. Public Mobile is aware of it and is working to resolve it.
Hope this helps.

My first thought is it could be a coincidence. Aside from billing systems, there is no difference in the technical infrastructure underlying both Koodo and PM accounts.
You may want to get a PM account holder to send a private message to CS_Agent with their account details so it can officially be investigated.
