I decided to try payment vouchers as my payment is never automatically deducted from my credit card. I contacted Visa and they claim that Public Mobile is not deductiong the payment. I honestly do think that the problem is at Visa's end but I don't have another card.
So, I purchased 3 $40 vouchers from Shoppers on my way home last night. I just tried to enter them and they don't work. I have tried the PIN# and the voucher# from the receipt and the number on the card itself on all three of the vouchers. None of them work.
What do I do? The vouchers must have been registered in the system as the numbers are on the receipts.

Recharge is the go to option for those who have to pay provincial sales tax or don't have access to Canadian tire gift card discounts. It may be worthwhile just for the convenience of online shopping.

I have only every bought vouchers for Canadian tire gas bars. There's no delay in the number being activated. I enter the 12 digit number into the account right away and it works. The voucher looks exactly like in the picture on this knowledge base article.

I have tagged this for the moderators so I'm not going to accept anything as a solution right now.
I did manage to get the vouchers to work using *611. There appears to be a problem with adding the vouchers via the website right now. Public Mobile needs to be aware of this.

In future you can try recharge.com . There is a service fee but no taxes. I actually used it for a friend yesterday and it was fast and simple from the comfort of cell phone

Sorry you are having trouble, depending on where and when you purchased the voucher (such as canadian tire) it usually can take up to 24 hours for it to be active, I have heard of some cases where it takes 48 hours (shoppers drug mart) in store voucher activations may be delayed. Keep trying every few hours at it may just end up working but in the meantime shoot off a message (ASAP because they are backed up, so get in line) to the moderator team to look into it. I know it can be a little frustrating to wait but send a message to the moderator team and include your name, account number and/or phone number and pin number and they will get back to you asoon as they can between Monday-Friday 9am-9pm (EDT) and Satuday-Sunday 9AM-7:30PM (EDT)

Also was someone having an issue with a shoppers voucher. May be an issue of 24 hour delay or something. Otherwise you will have to message moderators, which is also in that link.
