I was checking my mother's Public Mobile account today and noticed that I cannot view her current data usage (to see how much she has left). I have checked the help articles and know it is supposed to be seen in Data & Addons.
1. Public Mobile My Account
You can easily view your usage in your Public Mobile Self Serve account by clicking on the Plan and Add-Ons tab, then on Add-On Usage. Here, you will find a summary of your data usage for the current billing cycle.
This is what I see:
I can see the data usage history and she has been getting text alerts. But no way to see what her current balance is.
Any ideas?

Thanks everyone! She knew she was very close to her data limit and we just wanted to get an exact number. She got a message about being at 95% but that's it. So looks like she ran out, which we expected at about this time.

@m2m FYI, this is virtually always the explanation for this symptom. Your mother has used up her data for her current cycle.

@m2m Here are some advices you may want to take:
In order for you to have more control over you data usage, we recommend turning off data when is not needed. Also disabling Wi-Fi assist (for iPhone) or Smart network switch (for Android) to avoid the phone connects and jumps automatically from Wi-Fi to data.
It is also recommended to restrict background data to avoid that applications connect automatically to your data and make small updates as soon as you turn it on.
You may consider monitoring your data from the setting of your phone if you have an android (settings-data- set data limit – enter your billing cycle- your data allotment so the phones gives you a breakdown per app) .
You may also consider getting a third party application that will give you a breakdown of the usage per app, so you know what application is using your data or if it is the operating system of your phone.

@m2m Under the plan and add-on box, you can click on "View My Usage" that will take you to the details of the minutes and data. 250MB is not much, if your mom has been received the text message regarding her usage, which means it could probably used up already.
I normally turn off the data until I need it. Some apps may take up data in background even if you have not open the apps.

I find that a few times when I log into my account sometimes things are missing, and just logging back in after a few minutes things reapear again. The system is very glitchy at times.
Has it been missing everytime you log in?
