Is your renewal date today? That could cause a bit of an issue, until your account goes to fully suspended status.

Seems to be a frequent complaint around here. The payment system here is unreliable. Are you using a browser or app? If browser, mobile or non-mobile type? You can only attempt twice per hour. If you've been trying more than that then wait an hour and try twice again. The postal code matches the billing address postal code, right?
