I am on AutoPay, but I have already used all of my data included in my plan. I want to renew my plan now to get back internet, how can I do it?

Purchase Add-Ons Through Self Serve

To purchase Add-Ons using your Self-Serve account, follow these steps:

  1. Click on ‘Purchase Add- Ons’ on the Overview tab and scroll down to the Add-On calculator.
  2. Click the plus sign (+) to add and the minus sign (-) to remove selected Add-ons.
  3. When you’ve added all your desired Add-Ons, click ‘Buy Add-Ons’ or ‘Make a Payment’ below the calculator:
    • You will see ‘Make a Payment’ instead of ‘Buy Add-Ons’ if there are not enough funds in your account to make the purchase.
    • If you don’t have sufficient funds to purchase the Add-Ons, you will be asked to make a one-time payment equal to the price of the Add-On, less your current available funds. Click ‘Submit’, then ‘Go back’: now the button below the calculator will say ‘Buy Add-Ons’.
  4. Select ‘Confirm my purchase’, and you’re off to the races!

Did you add the funds, choose the add on, confirm and submit the purchase, in that order? If you see the 1GB of data at 3G speed at the bottom of the left hand side of your overview page then you should be good to go.....you may have to reboot your phone.

 

If you added the funds and you see $15 still in your balance then you have to still go to the plan and add ons page and select the add on, confirm and submit your add on purchase.

Buying an add on is  a two step process:

1. Load up the funds/money

2. purchase add on.

First make sure your account has $15 balance from previous $ or do a top up of $15. Second then buy the add-on.

I chose the third option, I bought a data add on 1GB for 15$. How do I activate it though? 

A second way. You could also go up a step to a higher priced plan with more Data and choose to move to it NOW or upon your next payment due date. But you will loose a portion of $ from the last date of payment to today if you take the NOW option.

To get more data add the funds to your account. Then either :

 

  1. Go to the plans and add ons page and choose the $15/1gb add on and confirm and submit the payment.
  2. Choose the plan you wish to change to and choose "change now".
  3. Contact the moderators by clicking on the chat bubble or sending a private message with the subject line " renew plan early". Wait times are about one hour.

**If your plan is grandfathered and no longer available then use options (1) or (3) only.

 @MahammadGuliyev : The bolded reply is _not_ the only way. It is one way. Dunkman has offered all the cellular methods.

Are you close to the next payment date?  if so, maybe just get the 1GB add-on to see if it can last till the end of the month?  (just a reminder, buying Add-on is a 2 Steps process, Load Fund and then actual buying of the add-on)

 

Also, you  joined  PM since 2019?  If so, you should have got some Holiday Data Freebie from PM before.  You still have them?  if you do, they will kick in when your monthly data are used up.

If you want to renew your same plan earlier, you will need to contact moderator. Usually takes a few hours to respond, etc.

 

You could change to another different plan (with more data?) immediately via self service.  Public mobile does not prorate plans though. 

 

Another option is to buy a data add on 1GB for $15, with unused portion rolling over to next month.
