Payed for service, got none. Just a balance of $32

I don't get it. Inserted my SIM Monday night, payed $42 plus tax ($47.46) for a 30 day plan with unlimited Ontario talk, unlimited Text and 1GB data, but when I check my plan it says $10 plan without any service!  I can't even make or take calls.  I have a $32 dollar balance, but when I try to use it the system hits me with the taxes again and there is not  enough funds.

Sent two e-mails to these guys already, but still no action.  Anybody else having the same problem, no service and having to wait and wait until someone reacts?

 

I have a useless LG K10 smartphone right now.  Really handy in cottage contry this afternoon 😞

I'm sorry to hear that the wrong plan was activated during your set up. As you may have seen, this is a system issue - but one that I can work around. If not done already, please send me your phone number via private message. One of us mods will get back to you as soon as we can.

once you get going there is no looking back.  the initial rough ride is worth it eventually.

Yeah, tried that, but they calculate it as $32 plus tax AGAIN, so I have to allow them to charge more to my credit card.  And if that does not work (another dang glitch in their system) then what?  I don't trust them or their system right now.  This is my first impression of Public Mobile that a friend suggested.  Right now I am regretting that decision 😞

@KMLees  current wait time is about 48 hour maybe loger.  I have suggested this in a couple threads but not sure if it works.

 

a possible solution would be to do an immediate plan change to the proper plan.  add the needed funds to reach, then change the plan to what you need.   This should activate a new plan cycle with the proper settings.

 

Again not sure if it will work but if it was me and I was facing  a 48 hour disconection i would try it.

 

if you do try this let us know what happens.
