My password didn't work tonight, so I tried to reset it. I received no email update. My bill cycle is about to end, and I really need to make a payment tonight. Any suggestions?

Best option tonight is to pay by phone; dial *611 and follow the prompts. I've not done it so am not sure exactly what you need to do. If it transpires you need a voucher here is the info on getting one: https://publicmobile.ca/en/on/how-to-pay (Scroll to the bottom of the page).
Failing that it is possible you will have an email response this evening, BUT account resets have been problematic of late using that mode.
So, unfortunately you will need moderator assistance but they have left for the day.
Do send a private message to the moderator team with your phone number and an explanation. Turn on email notification of private messages so you do not miss the deadline for resetting your account. DO THIS ANYWAY because you need an account reset even if you are able to pay by phone.
Meanwhile, if service stops and you need to make phone calls try an application like that from fongo.com. It provides free calling across Canada from wherever you are connected to wifi.
