Moving to the States

Not sure where this belongs, if a plan holder is going to move to the States, is it possible to transfer to plan to someone else?

It's even easier:

1. remove your credit card info and turn off autopay

2. "give" your account access email address and password to the person you wish to have the account

3. give them your SIM

They can then change everything they wish in the account; including the account access email address. It is best that the home address in the account be theirs just in case emergency services need to come to their home.

If they/you elect to change the account access email address, they/you will need to send  a private message to the moderator team requesting that the original email address be changed to the new one.

As @SD08 mentionned, sure, you can do that if you no longer need your phone number. I would also recommend only giving it to close people and not really any stranger, I mean you can but some people would rather give it to someone close to them.

Yes, it's possible to transfer the plan to someone else, as long as you don't mind losing the phone number associated with the account.  All you'd need to do is change the name, address,  and e-mail address in the PM self-serve account and give the SIM to the other person.  You cannot port your phone number out in order to keep it, as that would automatically cancel the account and plan.

The name and address can be changed by going to "Edit Profile."
The e-mail address is changed by going to "Change Username." (E-mail address= username)

Be sure to remove autopay from your account:
Go to Payment -> Manage Autopay -> click "Remove Autopay"

Then remove your credit card details from the account:
Go to Payment -> click "Manage my card" at the bottom of page -> then click "Remove this credit card"
