Are you on AutoPay?
I’ve been with PM for 2 years with AutoPay and never had an issue…knock on wood!

Hi. Have you tried using the different options in Payment to make a manual payment?
I think it is probably faster to open ticket with CS Agent and have them check, maybe a Fraud lock there for too many failed attempts
To open ticket with PM , at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot. Follow this to get to ticket open screen quicker:
After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS Agent

what makes you say that ? Dial 611 from your cell to hear current plan status. You can also pay by dialing 611 using your registered credit card...you will need to know your PM pin number.
