Hello community! I just learned that I can "unsubscribe" and pause my subscription for 90 days while retaining my phone number. I am traveling abroad and will be doing this. However, before I knew this information, I had already redeemed my public points to reduce the bill next month.
What happens now?
Will the points be redeemed after the pause has been lifted or will I lose the points?

Unsusbscribing from autopay doesn't pause your plan subscription. It only disables autopay. There isn't any way to stop the clock on the plan that you've already paid for.
Once your service does stop working if a renewal fails due to lack of avaialble balance, you account will get permanently closed in 90 days from that time (not the time of unsubscribing from autopay).
In addition to the above, it was mentioned earlier that the next renewal would have already been paid for if the points redeemed for credits would be enough to pay for the plan. In that situation, the plan would continue functioning as usual, and there would actually be no stoppage of service as long as there is sufficicient balance in the account to keep paying for renewals.

By redeeming your 15 points for $15 credits off your monthly bill. If your unsubscribe (pause your AutoPay) before your next renewal date then the credit will remain as credit until you subscribe (resume your AutoPay) and you will be charge for the remaining balance. Unless you have the old $15 plan and in this case your next month plan is paid for.
But I wouldn’t wait until the 90th day to resume your subscription just encase there are issues. Example, website or app is down on the 90th day…then your account will be closed, SIM/eSIM will stop working and your number will be returned to the carrier you got the number from…bye bye to everything.

@PubsM , hi, no your good you will not lose the points. It will remain there as available funds and automatically take from your balance to pay towards the next bill.
