Out of data? How can I loose 7.5 gb?

Just renewed my plan and same day text saying 75% used then yesterday said 100% used . Checked my phone and everything is good and says ive used 2.52 ? So where the is my data?

your account renews at 12:00am ET. you could have been using your new account data without knowing...

@sylviemccharles log into your Self Serve and look at what is remaining for your Data Usage: https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/Overview/

 

IF it is not showing than it is all used up.

 

Looking at your data usage on your phone will only be helpful if you set your start date each time your plan renews.

Public Mobile are 30 day plans (not monthly).

 

Install an app to track your ‘live’ usage so you can keep track.

Sometimes pm sends out errant texts. Lately some texts like "your rewards were succcessfully applied" text is sent out 12 hours late at midnight vs noon. Its possible you are recieving 75% and 95% data usage texts indicating your usage before renewal but recieving them well after renewal..

 

Your data counter in your account is the most accurate but on a rare occasion you data counter may not reset upon renewal triggering these texts legitimately but  erroneously. Adding up data usage in your daily usage pages will quickly show if this has been the case or better yet try and screen shot your overview page before and after renewal so it's easier to see any anomalies when they occur and get it fixed  right away. 

 

Use your data warning and limiter as a back up to text usage warnings from 611 so if you accidently disconnect from WiFi or an app with a lot of video content runs in  the background you will be warned and/or your data will stop before it's almost all consumed ( if set at 25% and 50% of plan data) when the pm 75% and 95% usage texts are triggered.

Log into your account at selfserve.publicmobile.ca to see how much it says there that you've used. Go by that number.  If that number is okay, ignore the text message.
