I have a OnePlus 6 and am having Network connection errors constantly while on data 4G LTE. This has been from day one. New phone. New network.
Folks on this community say it must be a phone problem, and OnePlus customer service say it must be a network problem.
OnePlus customer service suggests that there should be an APN setting for their phones available from the Network. I have checked below but they do not have a listing for the OnePlus 6.

Any help would be appreciated. This problem is driving me nuts. I'm ready to give up on the network and the phone.
Thanks

Why are you responding to an almost 8 month later solved thread?

It is probably because Oneplus 6 doesn't support Band 13, which is sometimes used to transfer data. However, 6T does support Band 13.

Putting the SIM in my old phone, I don't get any problems.
Changing the APN settings didn't make any difference.
I did a factory reboot which seems to have helped quite a bit. I still get data drops, but I'm able to get back on without finding a WIFI signal so I'm okay with that. I wish I knew what had caused the problem in the first place though. But it's not Public Mobile so that's good news.
Thanks for your help.

Excuse me? Are you a moderator? I am following the rules of this forum. I have posted my problem on these forums; followed the sensible advice I've received; and gotten no satisfactory solution. I haven't had reliable data service since I signed up with Public Mobile two weeks ago and I'm getting a little pissed. Now I am asking for a moderator to help.
I have already dealt with customer service at OnePlus. They have customer service and I do not have to post on the forums at OnePlus to get users to help me as I do here, before I can ask for customer service.
I'm just saying, you're wasting their time by contacting them. If it was a whole bunch of people in your area complaining about it, it's an issue they can escalate to Telus and have an engineer check the towers in your area, but when it's a single person there's nothing they can do.
In addition, there are many people using OnePlus 6 on the PM network without issues.
To troubleshoot you should probably, in order until one fixes the problem:
1. Check that your settings compare against the official PM APN settings here:
https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Phones-Hardware/How-do-I-set-up-data-APN-on-my-smartp...
2. Make sure your OnePlus 6 is running the latest update.
3. If possible find a different mobile phone and test with that, see if you have the same problem.
4. Factory reset your OnePlus 6, recheck the APN settings.

This guy had the same problem as you, turned out he was copying the settings into his phone and it added spaces to the entries, removed the spaces and no problems.
Otherwise check out the other Public Mobile stuff in the OnePlus forums:

What do you mean by "bellus"?
Isn't the network service also "limited" as well as the customer service being non-existant? Are you implying that the network is "limited" to users of telus discount providers? How do you know this? I am curious.

I reset the APN this morning using those suggested for the 5T. It has not solved the problem.
How localized is local? I usually use my phone while walking around Burnaby. I have not found any area where I have not experienced the problem, although the problem seems to be increasing in frequency. Sometimes it happens as quickly as 3 minutes after I've left my house, where in the beginning it would take closer to an hour.
Thanks

This service runs on the bellus network. It's hard to make any disparaging remarks about that.

If the connectivity is a widespread issue, I think the problem is the phone . If the problem is localized, it could be network related.

Use the same APN settings as 5t.
Are these drops random or do they occur at certain area's?
