I encountered an odd issue today while browsing on the amazon app using public mobile 5g data. The images of the products will be perpetually stuck on the loading status and will not fully load. I tried clearing cache and data from the app but the same thing still occurs. When I browse the same 'search' of images on the amazon app using my wifi, everything loads quickly and correctly. I switch back to 5g data and the same issue occur. The images and products will not fully load. I did a speed test and was getting over 100mb/s so it shouldn't be a speed issue. I don't understand why images on the amazon app won't load while using mobile data. It's kind of frustrating as I never had this issue before while using freedom mobile LTE.

HI @Amped
i test it myself just now and I am good. But yes, could be DNS. Use some app to help change DNS on mobile data

I'm having the same problem. Doesn't matter if 5g, 4g or HSPA. The interesting thing is, if I connect through a VPN then the images load normally. There is definitely something wrong with the Public's network setup. Maybe a DNS issue or something...

Switch your phone from 5G auto to 4G. I have the same issue in some areas of Niagara where the 5G service isn’t great. App will work. No problem. Compounded with iPhone SE phones (I have two) being the poor cousin so it doesn’t get all of the 5G antennas for reception.

Hi, no I'm on Android 13 on Samsung zfold4. Id say it happened ever since I switched to PM about a week ago but I haven't been using the Amazon app recently till today. I had no issue while using it through freedom mobile data or wifi in the past.

Evening @softech
My Telus is LTE and PM is 3G. Apps act the same on both phones. iPhone SE 2020 and iPhone XR. But WiFi for both work instantly. It's odd.. I can't explain it but it must be the Gods telling me to stop buying crap on Amazon! LOL

Thanks for the reply. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled tried it on just LTE and same problem occurs. It doesn't happen when I go to Amazon through the browser though. This issue is only limited to the app.

HI @jyeung18
I don't have that issue myself
you mentioned about browsing through 5G, how about with 4G or LTE?
What phone do you have ? iPhone or iOS?
Try to uninstall the Amazon app first, clear default browser cache on your phone, then reinstall the app and see if you have the same issue

HI @jyeung18
I myself can't explain why it does it. The only reason I'm reaching out is to say it does the same thing on my Telus phone. I have both Telus and PM. Not sure if it's a Telus issue but I'm the same way. Works no problem on WiFi. Maybe it's a sign we should stop buying stuff on Amazon!! LOL
