@kalotis again, are you getting incoming text from friends?
are you getting other kind of shortcodes/2FA from banks or other services? Is it just Facebook that you are not receiving the 2FA?

@kalotis it's been a week since your original post. Have you seen no improvement in receiving shortcode SMS from some providers since then still?

It is a new account.

@softech callwithus.com is one of the few (if only) providers I've found with a lookup function that correctly reflects ported Canadian numbers. Lookups incur a fraction of a cent fee, but they are also quite useful for cheap outbound VoIP calling with some interesting calling-card features for creative long distance savings options
.
They have been restrictive lately for new signups from USA, so hopefully they're still open to new signups from Canadians...

@Nezgar Where do you do the full LRN lookup?

@kalotis I did a full LRN lookup on your number, and it is for sure showing Telus Mobility as of now (parent company of Public Mobile), regardless that it originally came from Iristel, so hopefully things clear up in the next few days on the SMS side of things as well.
Information about number 1604900XXXX:
CNAM: VANCOUVER BC
LRN: 17785800002
State: BC
Ratecenter: Vancouver
CLLI: BNBYBC024MD
LATA: 888
OCN: 8301
Company: TELUS Mobility
Prefix_Type: WIRELESS
May I recommend in the future you consider 2FA/MFA app like Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Authy, etc for time-based one time codes (TOTP) instead of using SMS based codes where possible. Then your phone is not dependent on a working mobile connection, as well as safe from account hacks as a result of SIM-swap or SIM-jacking fraud. Most popular social media and other websites support this method as well as SMS, ie Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, PayPal, Amazon -- I have personally set it up for these services using Microsoft Authenticator. the TOTP codes the app generates rotate every 30 seconds, and the phone can even be in airplane mode. Microsoft Authenticator can back them up to a personal microsoft account as well. Authy is another popular one, but I don't use it myself. Google Authenticator I've heard has less robust (or no?) backup function which may be a con.
Canadian banks tend to not support TOTP codes, but will often at least support calling as well as SMS in their options. CIBC for instance will push a code via a notification to your phone if you have their app installed as long as your phone has some kind of Internet connection, even if only via Wi-Fi.

The 604-900-xxxx phone number prefix was originally from Iristel, which services VoIP providers -- I would have thought this could have caused some potential issues with Facebook if they assume the service type of the original number, but this shouldn't be the case if you have been using this number just fine to received OTP's from facebook no problem with Fido all this time.
Otherwise, it could just take a bit more time for Facebook and some other providers to get the network routing updates, not unheard of when porting numbers related to VoIP...
PS: Since this is a public forum, you might want to edit out at least the last four digts of your phone number from your original post...

@kalotis I just noticed, you said again. And your community start date is not recent...unless you have restarted a new account or asking on someone else's behalf.
When this happened last time what did you do. Did CSA help? https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help

@kalotis - are you recently activated within a few days? Short codes take some days to 'find your phone/account'.
Is there an option to email you the password?
Also, this is a public forum, and we are all customers and members like you here, not Public Mobile representatives that can see your account. So, please click the top, right down arrow to remove your phone number.
