@grewalamana

As correctly identified by @Dunkman your one sim card did not provision correctly upon activation. Only the moderators can fix this for you. But....did the retailer give you a new unactivated sim card or do you still have the original one? Or both?

  1. If you have the original sim card then you ask the moderators to reprovision the sim card to your account.
  2. If you exchanged the original sim card for a new unactivated sim card explain to the moderators about the provisioning issue with your original sim card and ask them to swap sim cards ( the 19 digit sim card # on the back ) in your account.
  3. If you have both sim cards ask the moderators to reprovision the original sim card and keep the other sim card as a spare.

Put "sim card not provisioned on activation" in the subject line and check your private message box here in the community for a message from the moderators in the morning. Send only the info in line #1 and #2  n the first section below in your initial message and the last 4 digits of your sim card.

Send a private message...   Contact the moderators by sending a private message and leave a detailed message explaining your issue and the info to verify your account by including the following information:

  1. Full name and address on pm account. ( Or province and postal code for newer accounts.)
  2. Email, phone # and pin #.

If  you cannot remember your pin # include at least three ( if they apply)of the following:

  1.  Date of birth (n/a on newer accounts.)
  2. Last payment, date, amount, type and last 4 digits.
  3. Alternate phone number if any.
  4. Security question and answer.
  5. Plan amount, any add ons or promos on account.
  6. Last 4 digits of sim card.
  7. Any rewards in your account.
  8. Autopay y/n?
  9. Account #.
  10. Frequently called/texted phone numbers in the last 30 days.

The average wait time is 2 to 4 hours but be prepared to wait up to 48 hours for non urgent requests. Current wait times are about one hour and are probably even less as I have had some very quick responses in tne past week.

Keep an eye on your private message box the envelope icon next to your avatar for a little number to pop indicating a message from the moderators. Responding promptly will speed up service times.

Do not post any of this info in the community only in your private messages when communicating or contacting the Moderator_Team.

Hello @grewalamana

Regular trouble shooting network issues for your to try (yes, some people already mentioned some of these.....have you mentioned your phone model? If not, what models are you using?

Try one or more of the below:

*turn off your phone, leave off for a minutes, then reboot

*removing your SIM for a few minutes, then reinserting it

*go into airplane mode for a few minutes, then going back to regular mode

*reset network settings

*Is your phone locked? Contact your previous provider to unlock it for you. You will need your imei number, dial *#06# to get it.

*Check if your phone is blacklisted here: https://www.devicecheck.ca/check-status-device-canada/

Also, curious about two SIMs you activated?

Is the status of each account ACTIVE?

You can only use one unique email per one active SIM/account.

I also had that issue. Just go to the exact retailer you bought it from and tell the employee to help you make an exchange. Remember to bring your receipt and show proof with all the packaging identical to the faulty sim card that doesn't work.
