Not receiving voicemail

My iPhone shows the 🔴 on voicemail & I know that voicemails were left on there by friends but when I click on it, it says that I don’t have any new voicemails….help

@Violetmwhitney  - if you were able to check voicemails before, but now you cannot, try powering off your phone complete for minute, then start it. 

Also try to remove your SIM card then gently reinsert it.

Sometimes performing a Reset of your device's Network Settings can help fix finicky issues, including voicemail ones.

This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.

Iphone:

To Reset Network Settings, begin by opening the Settings app. Next, tap General -> Transfer or Reset iPhone -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings. and enter your passcode.

Your iPhone will reset network settings and restart itself.

You can actually do all the voicemail setup from another phone after resetting the voicemail password in the account to the 10 digit phone number.

But if the customer has unlimited minutes then it doesn't really matter so it only applies to the $15 plan.

How long have you been PM customer?

Did you EVER check and listen voice mail?

Voice mail has to be set up using your cell phone very first time. It cannot be set up calling vmail number from other phone.

Perhaps it's the number setting to access it. Try manually dialing 1-778-580-4001 and see if those voicemails are there. Are you new here? Or a new to you phone?

After you’ve activated, your voicemail is automatically ready to accept messages as soon as you add it to your account. It will play a default greeting until you set it up. Setting it up isn’t complicated:

1. Hold down the ‘1’ key on your phone keypad to dial your voicemail access number. Calling your own 10-digit phone number will also bring you to your voicemail.
2. When prompted, enter a password between 4 to 15 digits long. Try to make it hard to guess, but easy to remember. It will be more secure if you avoid using numbers that are repetitive or sequential such as ‘1111’ or ‘1234’.
3. Choose whether you want to bypass your password when calling from your own phone.
4. Record your name, and a personalized greeting.
5. When you’re done, hang up to end the call
