Did you check to see if your old provider Sim is still working? Does that still have services?

I did reboot, but it is not helping. I cannot receive either texts ie RMS or SMS

Hi @hg123,
Would you happen to know if you are trying to receive RCS texts or SMS texts? If RCS, you need to be around a WiFi network of have your data mobility turned on. Make sure they are turned on.
For regular SMS texts, you simply need to be connected to the Public Mobile network. If unable to receive them, please reboot your phone as others have mentioned.

Reboot your phone by powering off then back on. See if that helps.
