I switched to public mobile last night from Bell. I put in the public mobile SIM card and everything worked fine. I didn't realize I had to wait for a text from Bell to confirm the port.
Today I called bell and cancelled with them. And now I can still send texts and call, but I cannot receive any calls. It says my number has been disconnected. So why am I still able to call people and text but cannot receive calls.
Is there any solution to fix this now that I have already cancelled with bell?
Thanks

Did you click on the activate tab above? It lays out the 4 step process there pretty clearly, many ppl have gone through what you have though, so as long as Bell can reactivate the number you can reinitiate the porting process. Good luck!

OH, NO!
BOTH account have to be active in order to properly transfer your number from Old to new provider.
If porting was not done properly, you did not answer Yes on SMS from Bell AND you cancelled your Bell number then... good luck.
If Bell can reinstall your number you have to repeat porting process. If not, your number is gone...

Bell must be contacted first to re-activate the service. There is no other way around that. Only after the Bell service is reactivated, re-insert your Bell SIM card into your phone and contact a Public Mobe customer support agent using the chatbot.

Oh dear. Now your number is in purgatory. Call Bell back and see if they will let you reactivate.
Then you can call a number to re-trigger the text. You will need to have the Bell sim in a phone to confirm the transfer. But that Bell has to be active.
