hi,
I just ported my cell # from my previous carrier to Public Mobile yesterday on April 3rd, 2025 at 11am.
I am able to make calls and texts to and from other people whom use Samsung cellphones.
I asked a co-worker who uses an Iphone to send a text to my Samsung phone and her 2 texts which just show "test", have yet to arrive on my Samsung phone.
Please advise,

To verify your # for text and subsequently, imessage and RCS on iPhones, you have to turn off the “Primary” in cellular data settings and leave on cellular data.
This fixed the issue for me.. here’s a screenshot:

if really text the only problem, try remove phone number from the Settings and reboot phone. Then put the phone number back and test again

I can receive inbound calls.
Not text from iphones.

you can receive iPhone message could be just iMessage, which works on Wifi
can you receive inbound calls? Try reboot your phone first and test

I did reply to the text within 1 minute with my old carrier and replied Yes.

before you activated your Public Mobile account were you able to get messages from iPones ?

hi,
Yes I did reply Yes to my old carrier.
I am able to receive and send texts to other Samsung phones, just not Iphones.

Did you get a text from the old carrier, did you reply Yes within 90 mins?
and can you receive inbound phone calls, especially from Non-Telus/Koodo/PM phone? If you cannot the port was not done
