I talked to Apple and she said I need to make sure I am getting SMS messages. I should be getting them.
cab someone help me with knowing if I have that or how to get that?
my number isn’t connecting to texting

@Ava03 There’s a known issues with new activations not getting sms . Contact support they are aware and can fix
submit ticket with support . using the chat bubble bottom right of screen
If that doesn’t work you can always send direct private message to support .

If you are new customer SMS is not working properly.
Open a ticket so agent can remedy this issue for you.

Sounds like you have a similar issue as me. Reach out to @CS_Agent and ask to have eSIM reset. They resolved my issue relatively quickly.
