Suddenly my mms stopped working - I didn't make any changes it just stopped working yesterday and I have to resend as sms. (Resend as MMS is locked) I read a few threads that said the apn name is case sensitive, mine is in lower case, but it is greyed out so I cannot change it.
I am on a pixel 8a.

Well I'm not sure what I've done, but sms and mms are working. RCS is not now.

Tried that too. Didn't make a difference. Guess I'll have to reach out to customer support.

@Mlivesey I know what you mean about updates! Have you tried reset network settings? If nothing is working you can try Public Mobile customer support, open a ticket at the chat icon bottom right of this page, or if that doesn't work then send a private message to support using this link

Cell data is on. I may have done an update, honestly I forget, between my phone and my laptop and all my devices it seems I'm always doing an update. 😂

@Mlivesey Do you have cellular data enabled? MMS needs data. Might you have done an update to the phone recently? The all caps things for APN is typically a OnePlus phone issue.

backup your message, then go to the app settings for Google Message and click clear cache and clear data (please note all the old text will be gone). Reboot the phone and try again
