Not able to receive 5G signal with 5G plan

I have an S20 FE 5G and recently signed up for the BF $34/40GB 5G plan but I don't see 5G as an option in my network settings.

 just tested it and the speed is not good either

Your phone is likely not on the whitelist for 5G. I believe you need an iPhone or Galaxy S21 or newer, some other Android phones are supported as well.

hi @BBQ_Pork_Buns it is a known issue that s20 series does not work on Telus 5G network 

But try 4G, it will give you as fast as 5G speed plan, like 200Mbps or more, for sure above the 100Mbps cap on 4G plan
