Switched to S20 Ultra and now I'm told that my device is "not registered on a network" even though I can text. I just can't can't send pics or make calls Most of the time). I bought and activated a new SIM, I've reset the network, PM has reset the network, I've doubled checked the APN.   WTF!!!

@Junecat   I don't think you can text.  You were "texting" using Wifi for RCS

If it shows not registered on a network, I guess you cannot make  calls and neither data?

and did you just switch to new phone and not switched sim card? check if your phone is blacklisted

check if your sim card works in another phone.  It is good for that test, putting a PM sim card in another phone would force a sim reporvision and could resolve your problem

But if sim does not work in another phone, it is a sim provisioning issue, open ticket with PM support

Lot's of questions here, @Junecat

Presuming you're BRAND NEW here, or did you buy a new SIM card because you thought you needed to when changing devices?

Where did you get the device?  From a trusted source or new, or used?  Is it a model designed for the North American market, or Far East/Asia markets?

Did you check if it may be blacklisted?

@Junecat

my question is did you attempt to port your old number to your new PM account ?
