I just switched to you guys yesterday. My data works fine. My calls work fine. But my texting does not work.

@BrianEarl so if there no transfer request for your number . If I were you I would use @Cheetah24 link to support and ask them to refresh your account and see if that helps

If incoming phone calls don't work, then you likely have a stuck port. Did you answer Yes to your original carrier's port request?
Network reset will not likely help. I will private message you the Telus porting team number to have the port request sent again. Check your private message inbox (envelope icon upper right corner of website)
Interesting, you should still be able to text out, but not receive any incoming texts if your port is stuck.

@BrianEarl: If what Dunkman suggested doesn't work you can also switch the SIM to a different phone to see if there's any issue with the service. In any case in my personal experience; sometimes it takes around 48 hours or so for everything to fall in place. While some of us are lucky to get everything working within a hour or two sometimes it takes a bit longer so try again in a few more hours.
If everything fails, you can direct message a service agent at, https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437 as they might be able to troubleshoot further.

Which model phone? android versus apple? Sometimes there are issues with iMessage setup when you change carrier.
Are you able to receive incoming calls?
Maybe try to reboot phone. If that does not work, network reset of phone. Note: this will erase any saved Wifi password settings.
