Activated my PM account 2 days ago & transferred my phone number from Telus, but I still have no service. I was using Telus Prepaid, so assumed my phone would work on Public Mobile. Is it possible it won't work, even though PM uses the Telus network?
I have no service with Telus either, so am rather frustrated.

Did you get a resolution and service restored?
I find that porting in is helpful to do as a separate step from the activation of an account/sim card. Just to make sure the sim and account are working properly using a temporary phone number and then doing to port in of your old number as a separate step....
Hope all is well

Then likely account provision issue. I check and your phone should work with PM by checking the specs. Maybe try the SIM card just in case in another phone. To help detemine whether hardware issue versus PM service issue. Likely service problem.
If hardware issue, you could try network rest or even factory reset (back up phone).
However, you likely will need to contact moderator to fix your issue.
Click on the question mark on the right lower corner of website to start ticketing process to contact moderator. Type: Contact moderator. Follow the prompts to submit ticket.
Sometimes contacting Telus porting team via phone may help if exclusively a porting issue, but in this case, not likely just a porting issue. I would recommend contacting moderator and waiting for response.

If your phone works with Telus, it should work with Public mobile. Which model phone? Any service at all? If your port is stuck, you should be able to call out and text out. Not be able to receive anything.
