I just registered my new sim and have no service. I cannot reply to my previous servers email consenting to transferring my new number amd cannot sign in to my new account. I have not received a confirmation email from Public Mobile yet either

Sounds like your porting was not completed. Your previous account with old carrier must be Active and kept up with payment.
Leave your old SIM in your phone and wait for the text (not email) to confirm you are porting your number to PM. You have 90 minutes to reply or the porting will be aborted.
Power off your phone then swap the old SIM with PM SIM and power phone back on and it should work.
What part did you miss?

at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot. Follow this to get to ticket open screen quicker:
start by typing : Contact CS Agent
