Just activated my account, and I have no service on the SIM card. My phone should be supported as it worked fine on the TELUS network for years. My old TELUS sim card no longer works either, so my number should have been successfully ported over.

Try going into your network settings and see if Public Mobile is even an option. If it isn't, then reboot the phone with the SIM card in it. And I know this sounds stupid but it has to be said. Make sure you're SIM card is in the correct position... either up or down depending on your phone. Once it's rebooted with your PM SIM card, check the network settings again and see if Public Mobile is an option. If it is, then click on it and reboot. Everything should work after that. If not, then @Handy1 link to a CS Agent should help resolve it.
