just bought the plan yesterday and didn’t realize I can’t revive or send text messages
also didn’t get the 10$ referral code on my account

If you pick a new number during activation. Just reboot your phone by powering off then back on.
If you ported your number from another carrier. You must reply to the text from your previous carrier confirming you are porting over to PM.
If that didn’t work then it could be a provisional issue with your SIM so click on the Chat icon and type in Submit a Ticket for an agent to reset your SIM.
Your $10 credit will be in your account in 72 hours.

Yes I can receive and make calls just can’t text or receive text messages.

@Indiana1 Apparently imessage and facetime issue is a recently known issue. PM has suggested trying this,
Tap Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
