New phone number

I purchased a new flip phone as my second spare phone. How do I get a new phone number for this phone?

but i meant he needs 3G for voice as his phone is not VoLTE.  

this phone does not have much info, not from reliable sites.  But if it is true it does not have 1900 on 3G, voice might not work

Having a phone that can connect to the Public Mobile 3G network is no longer a requirement to use the service.

although yours is a 4G phone , the phones still need 3G for voice.  But from my research, your phone lacks 1900 band on 3G, which is now needed for PM.  So,  I don't recommend you to use this phone here

and to use this phone with another phone number, you need to setup another account for it.  I know this is not a  Android smart phone, so, download PM app on another phone, use another account to setup a new account for this phone.  And use physical sim

It is a AGM M8 Rugged Basic Flip Phone, 4G CA 2024. Unlocked.  Can you purchase 'pay as you go' cards/plan through PM?  Or have 2 phones using the same data on one plan?

What is the make and model of the flip phone?

To get a new number for the flip phone. Just open the PM app on the first phone (assuming it is not a flip phone). Open the PM app and logout of the first account then activate a new account with a different email address (you can use the password as the first account). Activate the new SIM and pick a new number. Once completed, you can transfer the SIM to the flip phone. 
Remember to make note the email addresses for each account for future reference when you login to each account.

You should check to see if your flip phone is VoLTE compatible. 

If so, you just pick a plan, buy a sim and open an account with a new email address.
