Hello,
I my eSIM was working perfectly fine, and i had no issues. I wanted to have a physical sim card and ordered one. Once it came, i had an phone update appear the same day. I activated the physical sim and removed the eSim and completed the update. Now, i cannot send messages in iMessage on the iphone and everything is going as a text message. Can i order a eSim and start again, or is there an issue with the Sim card? i do not want to change my number. Thank you!

hi @Frank416 if it can send and receive text and just not iMessage, it is just an Apple issue

Hello @slusagm
I’ve tried but nothing yet. It’s been trying to verify the phone number for an hour now. Including 1 reboot. Still waiting. Thank you

hi @Frank416
try re-register iMessage
go to Settings and manually remove the phone number. Then reboot phone and go back to the settings to add the phone number back. It will then re-register iMessage. It might take time and keep spinning, just wait till it is done

does voice calls and data work?
if it works, it is not the type of the sim card problem nor the PM setup, it is just a problem with iMessage setup. Try to disable it and reboot the phone and wait an hour and try to enable it again
