Went to activate Sim card and get a new phone number but it will not accept my city,,,no options...?

@Weatherman Which City you try to find?
There are 2 reasons why you cannot find the city you want
it could either be because Telus (owner of PM) does not have a "rate centre" there. Not all carrier has "rate centre" everywhere
Another reason is that the "rate centre" does not always reflect the actual city you try to look for. For example, Mississauga is a big city in Ontario , but carrier rate centre does not have a "Mississauga" for you to choose you phone number. Instead, it is broken in to 5 rate centres.

Do mean for phone number selection? As with all other carriers, Public Mobile doesn't offer phone numbers for every possible city. This won't make any difference for you as a Public Mobile customer to make and receive phone calls, but the city that you do end up choosing to get a phoen number from could make it so that others have to pay long distance fees to reach you.

@Weatherman - choose another city near the one you are looking for, then select from those options.

Accept your city in the phone number section or your address? Start your activation over but do the following first:
- Clear your browser.
- Reboot your device.
- Open one tab only.
- Use secret/incognito mode.
- Firefox, chrome, safari or Microsoft edge work best.
If you are having trouble with the phone number section you may not be using the correct name for the exchange in your phone number. Explain exactly where the issue is occurring so we can advise you.
