I just created a new Public Mobile account, and instead of porting my number (which has already caused me over a week of issues) I opted to select a new number. It seemed to go fine, but now for some reason I have both numbers showing up as options on my iphone (my old one, and the new one) and only half of my messages are going through to people.
Some are receiving texts from my old number, some from an email, and some from my new number. I have NO IDEA how to fix this.
Additionally, when I try to log in to the Public Mobile app, it says that it is sending me the Eversafe code to my NEW number, but I don't receive anything.
Has this happened to anyone before and what can I do to fix it?

Do you use any 3rd party app on your phone? No way 2 phone numbers to be allocated to ONE SIM.

it is strictly an iMessage issue and not PM's
Try to remove the number from iMessage/Facetime, reboot and then add the correct number back and try again

Please perform a network reset, reboot the phone and see if that helps.

I doubt it, as I used a physical SIM card, and had to remove my old one to put in the new Public SIM

@Chelsea1988 , by chance is your old service still running on your phone? Did you active to an e-SIM and have two services running side by side?
