Appreciate you trying to help bro

@Craig007   at the last step for validation, please select to validate via 4 digits PIN

if you forgotten the pin, then try to message it a third time.  Support usually reply within 2 hours or so, sometimes a bit longer

In your case, likely they need to reset your account on the back end and you should get your voice calls and text back

I tried there to, some reason it wont go through

@Craig007   I suggest you to open a proper ticket using Chatbot, this is the preferred way to seek support help and a quicker way.

I already private message cs, twice

Of course it's for porting in only. How convenient. Why would I port in? I want out. But bro thanks for your help anyway. If I have to lose my number so  be it. I cannot get 611, calls wont come in, text, all happen  overnight.....I email them, cs, nothing. For $10 more I better off with other provider. Public mobile is crap now. Again thanks bro

@Craig007   thanks for providing more info.

if the PM accounts work before, try to change the Preferred network type or network mode to 3G only or WCDMA only.  Check if the phone can connects at all in that setting

Tell me what you got

At the same time please open ticket with suppor again:

1. Please open ticket via Chatbot (requires access to My Account): click this  Chatbot Ticket Link

Then click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗" to open the ticket submission page
Next, enter your Community login, then enter your question.  Finally use My Account login or 4 digits PIN to validate.

2. If you have trouble with Chatbot or you don't have access to My Account: Private message CS Agent at:

    https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened.  CS Agent will reply to you there

What is number to call for porting?

@Craig007  are you trying to port in or port out?  the number is for porting in support only

But can you tell me what brand and model is your phone?

Craig007
Good Citizen / Bon Citoyen

What is number to call for porting?

@Craig007  to me, your phone might not be compatible  Will have clearer idea if you answer my question earlier, what phone you have

But if you decide to give up, good luck and start fresh with a new number 🙂

I tried this morning. Chatr told me if I cannot receive text they cannot port

@Craig007   when did you first request porting?  no worry, there is a number to call for porting support

and is the number on the old provider still active?  it need to be active for the number to port

So, let us know when you first request porting, like more than a month or less than a month?  and I will advise you what to do next

@softech , I wonder if they will do do away with the $35 3GB 4G Speed & the $37 5 GB 4G Speed Plans?

I tried to post earlier but for some reason the whole PM site is acting wonky for me (in private/incognito mode on browser always).

Some observations...

  • We see so many people, even regulars, said PM's plan on good or so, turn out PM has been offering the best $40 and $45 plan as of today.
  • Both Chatr and Lucky offering full 3G plans with different price range, and from $40 on, basically pay $5 extra to upgrade to 4G plan.
Personally, I think PM has the best lineup and makes things simpler: Anything below $40 is 3G speed plans and $40 and above are 4G speed.  Honest, there is really no need for 10+ plans.
HOWEVER, PM needs to put all their plans on its sites.  Not sure why PM only show the full list of plans during activation or Change plan
  • Only Chatr is offering 10Mbps on 3G network, PM and Lucky both "defending" their 3Mbps 3G speed plan.  With that, I doubt we will get better 3G speed anytime soon

Maybe PM is taking a step backwards on plans to save money to hire more employees for bigger & better things (more reliable / stable website & services, better customer support). I don’t know! 😬

Whoa that is confusing! The $40/15gb and $45/20gb plans are still there, in addition to these new plans. And right on the home page they are still promoting the $40/15gb plan.

Is this just really backwards marketing? Or possible a sneak peak at what's coming?

@softech, @gpixel

I'm still seeing the $40 / 15GB & $45 / 20 GB plans as being available as well as the new plans.

Not too much thought put into what the plan menu looks like before they add new plans. New customer would be tres confused already.

The $65 35GB plan is gone.  The new plans are a step backwards.  In my opniion, these new plans are confusing for existing customers, especially since the the plans that you just mentioned are better.

@gpixel oh, the $40 plan dropped the data 😞

I think the 3G speed will come, PM usually follow closely
