Have added a new SIM card to my old phone as my current phone is broken. How do I link my phone number to the new SIM card.

first, you are not really porting a number, you are just linking the sim card to My Account ask you said
login to My Account and go to Profile page, click the pencil besides the Sim card number and update it with the new sim card number
when you login My Account, the system will default to send you the 2FA via SMS, click Didn't receive it or Resend code and choose Send email to get the code via email
But if you cannot login, just ask PM support agent to help to update the new sim card number, you can submit ticket by direct message:
