Hi all,
first post here, just wanted to chime in.
I got in to Public about a month ago, and realized that to make this work on an Android device, you need to set up a new APN as one was not auto provisioned by the network (only saw Telus, Koodo, clearnet). Those setup instructions worked great (found here:http://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/rsxze77497/board/message?board.id=phones_and_hardware&mes...)
Now, got the wife on Public as well, just received SIM yesterday and found that a default Public Mobile APN was already configured! Good stuff, Public! Easy setup, so I thought. She got off wifi today to test it out, found there was no data coming through.
Sent her the instruction set to configure the new APN as noted in the link, works fine.
Perhaps the new auto configured APN for Public is not working as designed?
The auto config APN has items pre configured under APN type, and that's the only difference vs the APN noted in the link above.
So, for anyone trying the new APN and find that it's not working, hopefully the link above would work.
Wanted to flag this to a MOD to see if they can validate the system is working as desired.
We both have Android phones (OnePlus One) and it's not a ROM issue. 🙂
Thanks!
EDIT: changed the URL, set to the proper one. Thanks Martin!

Thanks for the warm welcome by the way. 🙂
Left Wind due to the lack of home network coverage (who wants roaming???? )
Love Public Mobile's service with full LTE.
