Why are us loyal customers never given the option to change our plan to one of the new ones? Makes me sad ! I love public mobile but only new customers get to lock in the great deals !

hi @S0966 for sure not. PM does not have roaming other than US and Mex. and I don't see it will add any

Can we also expect something like this ?
$40/ month
250GB data in Canada-U.S.-Mexico.
50GB data in 120+ Roam Beyond global destinations.
Unlimited talk & text in Canada and 120+ global destinations.

HI @funpig1
yeah, it is not unusual carriers "price match" each other this way
and of course, nice to see PM being competitive

It is no coincidence that PM did this in response to Freedom bringing back their $40 250 GB (50GB Roam Beyond) promo ending at the same time.

I see that the $50/250GB is back as is $40/150GB. Great time to ditch home internet lol. Neither is available in my plans page.

@Jem1988 Right now in my account I was able to get better deal as existing customer then a new activation can get . I was able to get 100GB for $35 CAN/US/MEX plan and in the website the same plan for new activations only gives you 50GB for $35 . So be sure to check your account and se what plans are offered to you . My plan change was actually a downgrade and price as my last plan was $40 so I saved $5 bucks and got even more data . Also if you see plan you like be sure to use the change in renewal option and not immediate plan change so you don’t lose $ on your current cycle

It is incredibly frustrating when it feels like the "welcome mat" is only rolled out for people who haven't spent a dime with the company yet. The reality of the Canadian telecom market, especially with a "no-frills" brand like Public Mobile, is that they prioritize customer acquisition (new sign-ups) over customer retention (keeping you happy). However, if you open your app and choose to change subsription, you may be pleasently surprised.
