Hi everyone! New member here and I just wanted to say that was the most pain free experience I've ever had with switching providers and porting a number over. It took a total of 30 minutes and everything is working great! I'm sure I'll have questions later on but for now I'm one happy customer! So long Fido! 🙂

Isn't it wonderful to see so many wonderful community members welcoming you abaord, @md0609!
Other carriers are not immune to technical issues, but with PM, this community is the only way to get customer service. So, when everything is going good, most people don't create a post about it. Thats why its easy to get the wrong idea about PM by looking at this forum.
I am a happy PM customer of more than 2 years and I have not had any issues with my service so far.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I agree that there have been a lot of negative posts lately about PM and I admit that I hesitated for a few days before signing up after seeing all the posts about trouble porting numbers over, data not working, etc. I kept my fingers crossed though and took the leap and had zero issues when signing up 🙂
I hope I can contribute to the community going forward 🙂

@md0609, welcome to Public Mobile. It is nice to see a good news story for once. Recently, there has been so much unwarranted negativity about this service.

@md0609, thanks for taking the time to post your positive experience. It is very common on most sites to only see negative posts adn this will help others that are doing some research and do see that it is a pretty simple process to do.
