I cannot send receive text messages I can make phone calls I cannot receive phone calls the number transfer didn't go through because the old number does not have a SIM card the old number is not a number that is in use but it's my old phone number and the provider lucky so I need this to be fixed now I paid my bill and I cannot do anything

Is your old number currently on an active account? If not it cannot be ported in unless you pay to reactivate the account the phone number is on. Contact customer support to assign a new number to your pm account while you figure out whether or not you can or want to port your old phone number to Public mobile.
Is your old number originally from Lucky or Bell or was it once a telus/koodo/pm number?

it is very easy to cancel your phone number transfer if you are ready to get a new number
Just login to My Account, go to Profile page, and click Change Phone Number, pick a new number. Once a new number is assigned, your porting request will be cancelled
