Hi, my credit card statement shows a charge from Dec 25 from "PUBLIC MOBILE SELF-SER" for $23.00. Could Public Mobile customer support please help me understand what this charge was?

hi @Lucy333

what plan do you have?

it is possible you have a $10 credit if you just joined with a friend code last month

Best to login My Account and go to Payment history and check.  There might be couple lines for one renewal.  Please post us a screenshot for lines in the last 2 months so we can help

@Lucy333  My guess is that you are on a $20 plan, and you are in NS,NB,PEI or NFLD.  $20 + 15% tax is $23 /month. Nothing to worry about, but watch for the same charge to occur every 30 days.  Hope this helps.

@Lucy333

if you recently activated your new Public Mobile account, you had to use a valid credit / debit payment method and by default it was set to Subscribed (...which is Autopay). Every 30 days, your account will renew and use that card for any balance owing. If you want to manually pay using vouchers or some other method, you can log in to your account to disable Subscribed (...which is Autopay). Just remember to get vouchers at the retail level ...7-11, Shell gas and London Drug to name a few...then you can dial 611 to add them to your account for renewals.
