Hi, I setup email forward to SMS myphonenumber@msg.telus.com, it was working fine before. However, I got this error recently: Your message couldn't be delivered to xxxxxxxxxx@msg.telus.com. Their inbox is full, or it's getting too much mail right now. How can I clean the inbox? Please can someone help me out? Thank you.

Yes like that. No dashes. No leading 1.

This is from my email client. If you can read it. The koodo one arrives as an mms showing as from an email address. The other text ones arrive as showing from +19999999999 and the content shows the sending email address.

Like 5555555555@msg.telus.com?

Dashes in or out? Lead with a 1 or no 1.

Not working for me.

Are you a Telus customer?. You can’t log into Telus My Account    unless you are.

What inbox are you wanting.....like xxxx.telus.net.

There is a missing link in your inquiry.

@CountyDownIeUk- Works for me. @msg.telus.com, @msg.telusmobility.com and mms - @mms.mb.telus.com and even @msg.koodomobile.com

Should not @greatcomputers be on the Telus forum? My PM number does not work email to text. But may it should cuz that’s who I ported from.

@CountyDownIeUk- I am aware of the email -> text method. The question from the customer is about the error message. I found one thing with a quick search that suggested the messages folder on the icloud server of the recipient.

Nice reference collection.

@greatcomputers it's ok not to able to login to Telus online for this service.  xxxxxxxxxx@msg.telus.com is just an email to sms service, you don't really have a mailbox with Telus

did you also meant you go to your own mailbox?? clear all messages and works? Then it is your own mailbox which you used to send the message to xxxxxxxxcc@msg.telus.com was full.

I am a PM customer. When I send email to myphonenumber@msg.telus.com, my phone can receive the SMS.

I try sign in Telus online, it won't let me register, said invalid phone number, postcode, and account number. What I need to do is to log in my inbox and empty all message. Should I contact PM service? Thanks.

The phone numbers are fakes for example only.

Here is a list for Canadian Carriers (I’ve outlined American carriers below). In the instructions below I’ll explain how to create a list with your client/patient/opt-in subscriber list.

  • Bell Canada – 5551234567@txt.bellmobility.ca
  • Bell Mobility (Canada) – 5551234567@txt.bell.ca
  • Bell Mobility – 5551234567@txt.bellmobility.ca
  • Fido – 5551234567@fido.ca
  • Microcell – 5551234567@fido.ca
  • President’s Choice – 5551234567@txt.bell.ca
  • Rogers Canada – 5551234567@pcs.rogers.com
  • Solo Mobile – 5551234567@txt.bell.ca
  • Telus – 5551234567@msg.telus.com
  • Virgin Mobile Canada – 5551234567@vmobile.ca
  • Koodo – 5551234567@msg.koodomobile.com
  • Chatr – 5551234567@pcs.rogers.com
  • Sasktel – 5551234567@sms.Sasktel.com

Since you probably don’t know the carrier of your recipient you should create a bunch of emails and Bcc. The way to do this is to put them in a Word doc and find and replace 5551234567 with the real phone number (no spaces).

No @dust2dust that is not an Apple thing. I first discovered in the early 2000s. It is a way to text some ones cell phone from an email on a computer. Bell had it too. It helped when not everyone had a mobile phone. BUT I don’t think that PM would have that option. And it’s ancient too. But would be a good way to call the troops back home from an email distribution list. I used to use the Bell version of this.

@greatcomputers  Are you a PM customer or a Telus customer?

Are you in the Apple world? I found something about the icloud might have a folder called messages that might have all those email->text messages in it. Maybe have a look.

Adding - ...the recipient...

It sounded like you are sending this to yourself. But maybe it's just another person. So I'm changing it to recipient...which may be you.
