My husband also has a Public Mobile SIM card. His phone has just died. He wants to use an older phone for the time being. But when he loaded the SIM, the phone requires the SIM code. Which is on the original SIM card box. He can't log into the Public app, because it send a text code to his phone number. He can't get that text. The Public support just tells him to log in to the app, as a first step, which he can't do! The older phone would not support an eSIM. Any ideas?

@Valerie5

Which message is being shown when he puts in the PM SIM card?  Depending on the message, the old phone may be locked to previous old carrier.  You may need to contact carrier to get unlock code.

As for login into your account, you sometimes can get 2FA email code instead.  When you first log in, do you see the "I did not receive code" link.  Click on that link to see the next page. Should offer 2FA email instead.

@Valerie5

he should download the Public Mobile app to his cell, then log in to his account...don't try to start a brand new account. His old sim should work in the cell just fine.
