Need Moderator Help to port from Koodo to Public

I'm currently a Koodo subscriber and I want to port to Public. Need a Moderator pls

Definitely open a ticket. In simbot. Someone will get back to you in 24 hours 

Do you mean whether you're on prepaid or postpaid? Do you get a bill? Did you have to agree to credit checks and such when you started? I wonder if you can deduce from the plan you have as to whether it's from the postpaid collection of from the prepaid collection. I don't know. I don't know what Koodo looks like.

 

Adding - now you might be confusing things. Your number can be moved around. But a sim is only for that provider and account.

I started with a PM sim... which then went to Koodo... Can't I use that back on PM?

You would think it should be easy... but it's not.  No information anywhere on Koodo site.

Can we assume then that you're with Koodo prepaid? You can do Koodo postpaid yourself.

Usually this can be done completely self serve.

 

Did you miss the PAT (port authorization text) from Koodo?

You will need a PM SIM to port over from Koodo.

You can pick one up at the Telus/Koodo store and activate the SIM yourself.

Y ou can open ticket with PM CS :

at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot

First type Contact ,
then select the only choice there:  "Contact..",
from the list of ,  choose "Other"
finally click the the blue link about submit a ticket
Another page will open and just follow: .

After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS 


If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can also send a private message to the CS Agent (but this can take longer):
