The great thing about public mobile was that it rewarded its longterm customers! Unlike the other phone/cable companies that gave the great deals to NEW customers only! Now that telus has taken over another company that has stopped. The "GREAT DEALS" are for NEW CUSTOMERS ONLY?? 😖 SAD!! Canada has got to stop letting big corporations monopolize. We pay the highest for cable and cellphone service in the world!!

actually time has changed, not all carriers allow you to change plan freely. I guess you have been with PM for too long

@ImissPM I miss the old days of public mobile when we could switch to any plans and the old $ rewards system . And yet public is still considered budget brand and yet I bet my very best cell pan deal right from Telus it’s cheaper faster data speed and live support . Wifi calling call control roaming in more countries then just US and MEX . Currently I have 150GB CAN/US /MEX plan up to 2GBps speed not a silly up 250mbs and I only pay $35 a month for that . I also have old 4G plan with no cap that still faster then 250mbs fake 5G plan and I don’t experience dropped calls either . So with all that said if the big brick and motor store can offer cheaper plans then public mobile .im surprised public mobile is still in operation.. I keep one line with PM because I have healthy amount of referrals should those refferlas ever wake up and leave I’ll be done with PM too because there really is no incentive for higher priced plans with subpar features .

Customers should be able to sign up for ANY plan they want!! Now that telus has taken over, "great deals" are only for NEW customers??!!?? WTF??

@ImissPM - When you take the original (base) plan amount, and then subtract the 5% autopay, the $10 Annual (loyalty) present, any current referrals and the not-so-easy to obtain but still achievable community points. You will find that PM is still the best value in the Canadian market. The competition is fierce in EVERY business atmosphere, and although I completely agree that as Canadians we pay an unjustified amount for our cell phones each month, I have to say that Rogers, Fizz, Lucky, Bell, Chatr etc are all the same in their aggressive pricing to entice and lure new customers, but they simply don't have all of the other incentives mentioned above to get money back, that PM offers. And... if you read the fine print, the other guys are offering low prices for a LIMITED TIME (aka 24 months before your price gets hiked up). 🙂 Happy Monday Everyone!

TELUS bought out public mobile...thats why loyal customers are now treated worse than NEW customers! ALL the great plans are ONLY for new customers or for limited times! 😥I miss public mobile!😖
