My iPhone 6 started saying "searching"

My iPhone 6 started saying "searching" and cannot connect to the Public Mobile Network. I tried my SIM card in a different device and it works fine.  Nothing happened to my phone and I did not change my phone, I don't know what caused the problem or how to fix it.  I tried doing a network reset but that did not help either.  I'm "searching" for some advice

@an_johnson17 Sounds like a hardware issue with the antenna.

@an_johnson17 Try manually selecting PM as your network and restart the phone.

@an_johnson17 Did it work?

Try your friend's SIM card in your phone.  The result will determine whether you have a hardware problem.

Try factory reset if nothing else helps.

Your iphone must be locked to a different provider.

Sim lock can be unlocked for free in canada if you contact the provider that its locked to.

If your phone is unlocked and its still not working try turning phone off and reinstalling the simcard.

You can also try  selecting  carrier to "automatic". Sometimes that does the trick also
