Hello Everyone…
I wanted to view my current plan but I can’t find it. Under Subscriptions, I see that I’m on the $15/month plan, which originally, was correct, BUT when PM switched from the old Rewards program to the new one, I was down to paying $9/month because we were given a $1 reduction in our monthly fee for every year we stayed with PM (back then, it was called the Loyalty Reward). When PM switched to the new Rewards system, were we put back to our original plan…in my case, $15/month? I can’t see where my plan indicates that I’m paying $9/month.
I know I’ve said this before, but I don’t find PM’s website to be very user-friendly 😕.
Thanks for your help!

Hi JJordens…like you, I wasn’t complaining about paying a paltry $9 a month for my plan…nowhere else would I be able to get exactly the right plan that suits my needs for that price! For me, it was a game to see if I could actually get my monthly fee down to zero 😏! Not sure if I would have been allowed to do that, but it was fun trying 🙂.
With regard to your statement that you lost your bonuses when they switched over to the new Rewards Program…I’d look into that if I were you. I’m pretty sure I didn’t lose mine (I would have looked it up before replying to you, but I can’t remember where to find that page).
Also, TheSterlinger told me about the other $15 plan that gives you more bang for your buck and hTideGnow, in answer to my question, told me that we don’t lose our bonuses if we switch plans.
There was another reply to my initial question but I can’t find it for some reason. Someone mentioned the $119 a year plan through FreedomMobile. Not sure how PM is connected to FM but I’ve decided to stick with the new (to me) $15 plan.
Good luck! Let me know if you got your bonuses back!

Hi computergeek541…I hadn’t meant to accept my reply as a solution. That acceptance was supposed to go to hTideGnow for letting me know that we didn’t lose our previously accumulated extras. I have now hit the right button to reflect that.

@Griffyn1, I feel your pain, I was also getting great loyalty rewards before the switch (my bill was 7$/mo.) This new system only "rewards" the big spenders. I still have the 15$ basic plan like it sounds you do, so I get measly points back. THOUGH, it also seems that I have just recently lost my bonuses that I'd had banked. I had about 1500 minutes of canada-wide talk, from several Christmas promos. And about 4GB of anytime data from loyalty perks. They were great because they didn't expire after 30 days like the new add-ons.
Don't get me wrong, I can't get even similar to the 15$ plan with any other carrier, but I've been less and less happy with PM since the switch.

hi @Griffyn1
you won't lose any of those, those bonus from Christmas has no expiry and will stay with you even after plan change.

To view your current plan go into “change subscription” and will show at top of page. But view only. 😀

Thanks hTideGnow…that’s sounds good! One question though…if I change to this new plan, will all my goodies be reset to zero? I think, with all the Christmas presents we’ve been getting, I have about 8 GB of data accumulated on my account. Will I loose that?

No more $9 bills. You pay your full $15 each month. Check the payment history and your credit card statements.
Its been more than 12 months now. We all pay full amount each month then PM give you 5% of your payment.
You can view your rewards total in the Rewards tab of the website. No, it's not very user friendly but once you view the information and check the various tabs, it will make more sense.
FYI, check the Subscription and Add-ON section. You should see the same $15 plan with an offer to upgrade to same amount with unlimited calling instead of 100 minutes and 500MB of data up from 250 MB.
If you are interested in this plan, click Change on Renewal to save this month's payment and it will take effect on Renewal.

@Griffyn1 hi,
So with the new Points System, everyone pays their full plan amount upfront. So for you you would pay $15+. Forget about the $9 you used to pay, that's long gone.
What they do now is give you 5% back on your payments each month. You are no longer getting discounts but points which you can use to redeem towards your bill.
You have to visit the Rewards section of the website to see how much points you have accumulated so far.
You can view the catalog to see what is offered and how much it cost and redeem.
If you have 15 points, that's equivalent to $15 off your next bill.

hi @Griffyn1
with the new rewards, you won't be just paying $9 a month, you will be paying full $15 first, and get reward points back. But your reward points won't be as good as the $6 saving you have been
And check your Change Subscription page. There could be a new $15 plan with 500Mb data and unlimited incoming and outgoing calls. Same $15 but much better. Check if you have it on your Change Subscription page
