My Cell Number has another subscriber

Please be informed that I bought SIM card one week before, and picked a cell number from your public mobile website to activate the SIM. I have found that someone has been using the same number for a long period of time.

Why did it happen and How would I correct it?

@sroddah

mistakes happen. I'd suggest you use a laptop to log in to your account (but first use incognito mode)...then change your number. Pick a new number form the options available.

@sroddah   sorry, it is a "famous glitch" Telus system has.  it will somehow give you a number that already owned by another person  😞  Not good

Since you are the late comer, you have no choice but to pick another number.

Just login to My Account, go to Profile page and click Change Phone number and pick a better one
