Not as good as it sounds. Koodo locks you in for 24 months.Since they changed their rules end of August 2019...it's tab plus phone credits if you decide to cancel or leave before 24 months.
So there giving a tab small from picture above of the text.
Here's one example.
LG Q70 is zero $ on tab small. $325 in phone credits...and you pay $10 a month for 24 months.
If you decide to cancel and leave before the 24 months is up. Then you pay tab balance that's left and phone credits that are left. If you stay with them 24 months paying $10 then the phone is yours and phone credits go away.
So let's say you stay 1 year.
$10 per month for one year pays $120 of tab.
$325 ÷ 24 months is $13.54 each month that gets deducted from phone credits.
So one year pays off $162.50 in phone credits.
Total you'll owe for a one year old LG phone after one year is $282.50 if you did not want to stay with Koodo for the whole 24months.

Why pay $35 for 1 GB of data when you can get the same for $23 with PM?

@kselmak he received a text message from Public Mobile with a Koodo offer. He thought Koodo was owned by Rogers.
He posted a screenshot of the text message.
